Travel to Turkey in a Day
As a Minnesotan, you probably don't know much about Turkey or Turkish foods, but Rana Olson would like to help change that. Rana gives two-hour seminars teaching regular American folks like you to cook exciting, exotic, healthy and easy Turkish recipes for their families. In Rana's seminars, you and a small group of friends will be transported to another culture through the lens of food as you learn the recipes of another land and share a meal that you've prepared together. We know it's not possible to travel to Turkey in a Day, but through our Turkish cooking seminar, we bring a little bit of Turkey to you.
It was wonderful; the experience was definitely worth it. Not only the entertainment value, but being able to watch something, and learn something and socialize and bring together a lot of different cultures, and discuss them and see how they all live together. I mean, it’s such a small cost.

A Typical Turkish Cooking Seminar
A typical Turkish Cooking Seminar with Rana should feel like a gathering of friends, an instructional course and a visit to an ethnic restaurant all in one. Our seminars are hosted in a home, but all of the food items are purchased and brought by Rana. The host generally gathers a group of friends as small as 5 and as large as 12 who come together with open minds and hungry stomachs. As Rana teaches, the group cooks the foods together, and at the end of the approximately 2 hour event, everyone sits down to a nice meal together. We will provide disposable plates and flatware, or the host can use their own place settings. Our goal is that attendees would experience a bit of culture, expand their skills in the kitchen, try some new foods and have a great meal with friends; all for the cost of a typical restaurant dinner.
